Monika Kinner-Whalen is an emerging fibre artist living in Saskatoon. She draws from her own stunning photographs of the local prairies to create gorgeous, detailed fibre art landscapes. Her materials include silk and cotton fabric, sheer ribbon, glass beads, rayon and cotton threads. The pieces are stitched freestyle by machine and by hand.
