My fibre work explores nature’s forms, colours, texture and wonders translated by techniques that express feelings, inspiration and interpretations. Sculptural or 2 dimensional, choices of fibres, incorporating dying techniques give depth and richness; surface embellishment and alteration adds focus and detail.
I have been active in Saskatchewan crafts for more than thirty years as a: fibre artist, Exhibitor, The Hand Wave Gallery owner, curator; educator, and participant, adjucator and juror, active Sask. Craft Council member and guild member; Spaga president and co-ordinator of many arts related activities. |
