Exhibiting my first tapestry for my graduation as a textile teacher in Switzerland, led to an art career later in Canada. Margareet Van Walsem and George Glenn were the deciding influences during my stay in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. I am a founding member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council and served for eight years on the Board of the Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon.
I participate in exhibitions and create mixed media artworks that are appreciated by many. Textile and Fibre arts are my roots, which I strengthened by studying fine arts at the University of Saskatchewan graduating with a BFA. |
