Ink Slab Printmakers is a newly founded group of contemporary, Saskatoon-based, fine art printmakers. The group's membership is composed of artists from diverse backgrounds, including alumni, students, and professionals, all working in a variety of printmaking media.
Ink Slab Printmakers objectives are to create accessible, independent studio space for work in various printmaking media, and provide venues for printmakers to show and sell their work. The group also strives to promote a sense of solidarity in Saskatoon's printmaking community, and foster an environment of support and collaboration between practicing printmakers.
Although Ink Slab Printmakers are in their first year as an organization, they are already building their reputation as a group of experienced and dynamic contemporary artists, creating quality small-edition art prints for show and sale. |
