I look to capture the raw and underlying beauty of the world around me in my work by using a variety of materials and colour. I work mainly in mixed media and acrylic. Art has always been a part of my life thanks to the encouragement of my parents and husband. I am mostly a self-taught artist. I completed a B.Ed. in Art Education and recently a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. I love sharing and passing on creativity to others for them to enjoy. I am heavily involved in promoting the arts in my community and continue to find inspiration in the people, places and things that surround me. |
