"I think I was born to be an artist. I have always felt the need to interpret the world my own way. I picked up the paint brush in 2000 for the first time and fell in love. I started with landscapes and animals in oils then transitioned to figure painting in 2004 with acrylics. My art has been very well received within my community
In 2009 I became a mother and a homemaker. I now have the time I always wanted to dedicate to my craft. I have been able to travel and gain inspiration from places like the west coast and Maui.
My art is constantly changing and growing, exploring new styles and mediums. I put a lot of feminine energy into each and every one of my pieces. I love to be able to reach out and touch the sky every time I smudge the paint with my finger. Art is magic for me. It is with nothing short of awe that I experience every finished product. To be able to capture feeling, a special moment in time, means the world to me and I am very grateful to be blessed with this talent." |
