I am interested in creating paintings that have movement, texture and depth. I hope to evoke a response from the viewer, make them want to take a second look through use of color, expressive brush strokes and the unexpected. I move between portraiture and landscape, it seems to be a good balance for me. Like so many artists, the natural world is a very important influence for me.
I am a full time painter and work out of my studio in the countryside near Humboldt Saskatchewan. |
