The Mandate of the Saskatchewan Craft Council:
a) To promote an active and interactive craft community.
b) To facilitate the growth of craft excellence in Saskatchewan.
c) To create awareness and appreciation of the handmade object in the general public.
d) To facilitate professional development of the craftsperson.

The Ends Policy of the Saskatchewan Craft Council:
To foster an environment where excellence in craft is nurtured, recognized and valued, and where Saskatchewan craftspeople flourish creatively and economically.
